Now, I'm one to research before I go buy off from sites online - especially if it's based in China. Most of us know about Chinese retail sellers like AliExpress, Alibaba, Taobao, SammyDress, DressLily, RoseGal, and many more. They're often sketchy and bad experiences are common, though that is the nature of online shopping.
YesStyle was the one I picked however since most people's complaints were the shipping time and the quality was rarely under fire. I only ordered one thing as a test; the EVEN - Cloud Print Snapback (in pink).
We've all been sad sometime in our lives and according to Laura and Lize - the founders of The Sad Ghost Club - we're all automatically members of said club. On their Tumblr and website they state that The Sad Ghost Club is a club for anyone who’s ever felt sad or lost; for those who don’t feel like they’re part of any other club. They also work on spreading positive awareness of mental health and work with mental health charities!
Now to the review. I wanted the Still Sad tee, but it's been sold out for quite a while. So instead I went for the Still Sad bobble beanie because Iceland is cold and I don't have many warm hats.
There's a good amount of people that sell handmade clay jewellery on Etsy, but the one I chose was JigglesAndBeans! I only ordered one thing; this cute little doughnut necklace.
The necklace itself cost a mere $12.82 with the shipping upping it to about $18.12 which is on the cheaper end. The quality is fantastic though, despite the price. The doughnut is realistic and honestly well crafted.
Sorry for this being so incredibly late! We had a power outage + planning for my birthday and future plans got in the way.
Anywho, bottle inspired jewellery seems to be all the rage on Etsy and one of the more famous ones is 13thPsyche. From them I bought the Snake Venom necklace and a glow-in-the-dark bottle necklace. The latter I won't review due to it being a gift and the packaging not allowing for a sneak peek anyway.
The necklace itself cost only $14.94 with the shipping costing about $8.08 if my math is correct. The quality is quite good though so don't be fooled by the price.
I had just ordered my graduation/Christmas dress when I realised I needed something to go with it. Luckily, I stumbled upon the shop Ayalga which specialises in tiaras, crowns, and ear cuffs. I bought from them a middle-range (price wise) tiara and ear cuffs for both ears - just in case I wanted to switch between left and right or use both.
The tiara cost $39.47 and the ear cuffs $12.80 with the shipping upping it to about $72.38 which is a tad expensive (however I think I might have saved some money because the DHL shipping I got is supposed to cost over $50). The quality is fantastic though for the price; both are well crafted and honestly beautiful.
You know when you just don't want to get out of bed in the morning? Mental illness got you feeling like, well, shit? These little temporary tattoos might help you like they helped me.
Today I'll be reviewing an item bought from the store Ideationox. It's run by a person named Alyson and mostly sells custom made items, though the sword necklaces seem to be the most popular.
So I've been looking at this necklace for a while now and even signed up for store updates so I'd know when they were in stock. If you didn't guess it, they sell out really fast. When I ordered there were only 2 available.
