Ayalga Review - Etsy
07:42I had just ordered my graduation/Christmas dress when I realised I needed something to go with it. Luckily, I stumbled upon the shop Ayalga which specialises in tiaras, crowns, and ear cuffs. I bought from them a middle-range (price wise) tiara and ear cuffs for both ears - just in case I wanted to switch between left and right or use both.
The tiara cost $39.47 and the ear cuffs $12.80 with the shipping upping it to about $72.38 which is a tad expensive (however I think I might have saved some money because the DHL shipping I got is supposed to cost over $50). The quality is fantastic though for the price; both are well crafted and honestly beautiful.

The tiara comes with an adjustable ribbon at the back to help accommodate various head shapes and sizes. The ear cuffs on the other hand seem to be made for average ears (it fit on me, my friend, and my mother), though I can see it stretching to fit others. So if you have strange ears I recommend contacting the seller beforehand.
Now, undoubtedly the worst part about this purchase was the shipping. I ordered on the 14th of November and it shipped on the 1st of December. That's 13 working days and the description said it'd take 1-2 weeks for everything to be ready to ship. Technically that's accurate since I don't count weekends, though I had been getting worried. Since the shipment was from Spain it didn't take long to get here and it was picked up on the 5th.
(The cuffs and tiara)
I have worn the tiara once and tried the ear cuffs on. The only problem I had was my mother fitting the tiara too loosely and it falling down to my neck by the end of the day - her fault, not the seller's. The ear cuffs are nice and comfortable so the only problem is my long hair. Overall I'm satisfied.
Shipping 4/5
Even though everything arrived on time, DHL was very confusing and I never received anything about picking it up. My dad was forced to go somewhere and get it for me (because they sent it to him)! However, I know this ain't the seller's fault. Everything was neatly packaged and arrived with no damage.
Communication 5/5
Immediately after it was sent, I got an email about it. I got a tracking number, though DHL is strange in my small town. When I questioned whether or not the package would arrive for Christmas (stated as 2-3 weeks for international shipping), I was told that my package would be sent by express shipping.
Quality & Price 4/5
The quality is very good, but damn the price on that tiara! Considering they used a swarovski stone the price was upped for that. The German (faux-) silver, not so much. Everything was well crafted, however if I buy from them again it'll be for nothing over $30.
