Motivational Tattoo Review

16:51

You know when you just don't want to get out of bed in the morning? Mental illness got you feeling like, well, shit? These little temporary tattoos might help you like they helped me.

I first saw Motivational Tattoo pop up on my Tumblr feed some weeks ago. After seeing them pass by again, I decided to check them out (it was also a very stressful time in my life at the time). I bought from their Etsy shop, though they do also have a website of their own.

I purchased from them twice; once to test it out and again to try their Self-Care Kit. In my first batch I got The Cute Set, a Pick 'n' Mix, and a Hibiscus tea. Said batch arrived quite quickly in two cute envelopes and I had to put the little boxes together myself (which is preferred - though I'll get into that later). I immediately put one on my wrist and it felt strange for a few minutes until it settled and was basically undetectable.

The second batch was a Self-Care Kit as previously mentioned. It upped shipping by a few dollars but kept it affordable. And in that kit there was this stocking filler set and a sticker set. It arrived in just a few days in a box type of thing. The little box that you put the tattoos in came already put together which gave it a few creases and it can't stand on its own. I was also given an extra 5 tattoos and I'm unsure why, perhaps that came with the kit, though that was not advertised.

Shipping 5/5
I ordered the first batch on the 7th of November and it shipped the day after, while the second batch shipped on the same day. Each took only about 3 days to get here. Very neat, very cute.

 Quality & Price 5/5
The tattoos last quite well, though the Pick 'n' Mix ones seem to peel off easier. All were affordable, though I wish the tea was available in bulk.
